Almost 11 years ago, I left my home country of Vietnam to move to the States, leaving behind my childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor who would eventually serve the underprivileged population. Being wary of changes (big changes) by nature, I tried to resist the move, but couldn't. My parents had waited a number of years for our turn to migrate. Fast forward a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, numerous counts of student jobs, part-time gigs, real jobs, and a couple of failed "relationships" later, here I am. I found myself running out of breath and life-purposes.
This blog is to collect the memoirs of a new beginning, a period of major personal growth. I am seeking to live a more fulfilling, authentic, loving, and balancing life. I am seeking to really stop and smell the roses, relax, dream and follow my desires.
